Jack, our elf on the shelf has definitely settled back in well this year. I think he is becoming a bit of a cheeky elf. Here’s what he has been up to this week….
Reading the nativity story to some of the barbies.
Making sure he gets his vitamins, he helped himself to a satsuma in the fruit bowl. Funnily enough, my children all had a satsuma that day too!! (Jack works wonders!)
Jack decided the children needed to do some giving, as that is what christmas is all about. He set up the ingredients for gingerbread biscuits and wrote a note, asking the children to make biscuits, for the neighbours to say thank you for putting up their christmas lights.
Jack was feeling a little lonely, so needed a hug from the cat.
Today, he got the barbie horse out again, sat in a little buggy behind it, tied some string and used it as a fun sleigh round the living room!
We are all loving Jacks antics, especially the children. It is amazing how much fun can be had with a little elf.
The children baked their gingerbread. Tonight, they took some round to the neighbours. They were so excited doing this and my neighbours seemed genuinely touched by it. It was wonderful to see! One of those moments that makes you feel all warm inside.
Still looking forward to finding out what Jack is going to get up to in his last week with us.
