We do the same in our home on Sundays, although it’s usually cakes we bake, I will have to start trying some puddings as well

I do find it stressful cooking with the children, but I know they enjoy it a lot, so I do try to do it occasionally – usually we make Rock Cakes, but I might give a crumble a go! Rubbing the butter in is definitely the most fun part for mine.

This is a lovely autumnal recipe to cook with children and such a tactile activity. I think it is a lovely tradition to cook the pudding together every week.
