I find myself shouting relatively often and its not a good thing – I’m well aware of that. Now I recognise the stress in myself, or the PMT or those feelings of being out of control and I know its not the children’s fault and I immediately apologise for shouting and make sure they know I love them straight away. I’m not saying this makes it OK but I think at least it teaches them that its possible to turn around anger into love in an instant and to be forgiving and apologetic and accepting. I hope! X #WotW

You are definitely not alone. My three year old’s going through a ‘meltdown’ phase, at least once a day and usually taken out on his brother. After trying the calming down methods that worked with his brother with no luck I have had to learn to react completely different for him to calm.

Before I am a stressed mother. Everything is so hard to overcome and now I mellowed down in the worry department because my son is really settling down too. I dont know who influences who but I am happy that I can slowly enjoy motherhood. So true when you said that theres up & downs. And we should try to make downs to up. I am still learning to do that =) #wotw

Couldn’t agree more, some days I feel like you hit every different emotion, good and bad! Being a parent can give you the highest high but when your feeling low its the worst feeling in the world.
