I don’t know about you, but we have a huge problem with keeping trousers up in our house. For some reason, I have struggled for years trying to stop trousers falling down to half mast on my children. I have tried various belts in the past, but they are either too difficult for kids to manage or they are so elastic, that they don’t actually work.
However, I was recently sent some easy belts for all my children to try, so I was very excited to test them out to see if they would actually finally solve our problem.
We went onto the easy belt website to choose our belts. BB selected the grey striped belt, so that he could wear it with his school trousers too. Pinky unsurprisingly chose the pink striped one and Boo chose the purple striped belt. There was a good selection to choose from, so it would be very easy to find something your child likes and the sizing is explained.
The belts arrived very quickly and the children were very excited to try them.
The belts are elasticated with a very simple fastening system of velcro, so small children can manage them very easily. The belts come in a full range of sizes, from toddler right through to adults, which means they are also particularly good for people with disabilities.
My children tried them on and loved the style of them. They said they were comfortable. Initially, they didn’t quite understand how to fasten them up, but once I showed them, they were fine. They managed to go to the toilet and undo it and do it up again by themselves, which I believe is great, as previous belts we have tried, I have always had to help. My son even wore his belt to his first ever Beavers camp, so he was away from home for the first time and he managed brilliantly.
Normally, as soon as my children bend over to play or sit down, their trousers become half mast and start showing their pants, then later, worse still, we get a builders bottom. Sound familiar? well, these belts have changed this, their trousers have actually remained in place and has allowed them to keep their dignity. It is so refreshing to see, children’s belts that actually work and that kids can manage.
Disclosure: I was sent these easy belts to review, however, all opinions stated here are my own.
