Mother’s Day – Family flowers
It’s almost Mothers day, so last week we made our Mothers day present for Nana, handprint daffodils in a pot.
You will need:
- 1 pot
- 1 stick per child
- Yellow and green paint
- Card
- Scissors
- Glue
- Sellotape
- Stones & earth
- 1 Cake case per child
- 1 Photo of each child
Handprint daffodils
1. Ue the yellow paint to print yellow handprints on a piece of card, approximately 5 of them.
2. Once the handprints are dry, cut them out.
3. Glue the handprints together in a circle.

4. Glue a yellow cake cases in the center of the circle of handprints.
5. Glue the circular photo in the centre of the cake case.
7. Sellotape the stick to the daffodil
8. Put the daffodils in the pot, add some earth to weigh the pot down and some stones on top to look good.
There you have a lovely present to give your mum for mother’s day, very personal, homemade craft making family flowers.
My children enjoyed making this. They love doing handprints and painting as well as glueing. We all had a lovely afternoon and ended up with a lovely Mother’s day gift for Nana at the same time, what could be better?

I love these flowers! I might attempt them with L. I have pinned this to Kid Craft @Mummy Morkus

What a fantastic craft project and mother’s day gift! I think I might do this with my kids for my mom in the states. This is awesome. They turned out so cute and looks like the kids had a blast. I need some of those aprons you have for the kids. My craft supply isn’t very big as my two are still young. But I love getting ideas for the future.
Craft supplies grow as the kids grow, but those aprons are definitely a must!
they are brilliant, will be stealing this idea! i think my mum would love one of these #letkidsbekids
