How to catch a star review & giveaway
As a family, we love reading books together. The children delight in listening to the stories, we all like snuggling up together to hear them. So when we were given the chance to review Oliver Jeffers 10th anniversary edition of ‘How to catch a star’, we were very excited.
We have been fans of Oliver Jeffers books since my son received ‘Lost and found’ for a birthday present five years ago. He absolutely adored it and still reads it now, often to his younger sisters.
We were lucky to receive this beautifully illustrated book, ‘How to catch a star’ from Harper Collins to review. The children excitedly opened the box to discover not just a delightful hardback book but also some activity sheets to enjoy. You can print these off here if you would like to have a go too, How to Catch a Star Activity Sheets.
We all sat down together, to read ‘How to catch a star’. It is a lovely story of a boy who wants to catch a star, to keep. He spends time searching and trying to catch one, until he eventually sees a star floating in the water…… The illustrations in the book are very simple, beautiful and attractive to children. Such an enchanting book, which captivates children’s imaginations. It is a perfect bedtime story to snuggle up and read together. My children loved the book and we have read it several times over, upon their request.
If you would like a chance to win your very own copy of this fantastic 10th Anniversary edition of Oliver Jeffers How to catch a star, please enter the giveaway at the end of this post.
