Welcome back Jack (elf)

Yay, welcome back Jack! He’s our elf on the shelf. If you are not familiar with the elf on the shelf tradition, you can read all about it here.

Last year we said goodbye to our elf ‘Jack’ on christmas eve. The children really missed him, so when he arrived back again on 1st December, they were so excited! They have not stopped talking about him.

On Jack’s arrival on Sunday, he brought with him an elf outfit, all the way from the north pole, for the children to wear (& share). When they are wearing the outfit they have to be mummy and daddy’s little helpers. Jack wrote a note explaining this.

The children love it. BB and Boo have both worn it and helped me with breakfast and tidying up. Long may it continue.

We read the elf on the shelf book and watched the film to remind us of the fun and the ‘rules’. We had some really lovely family time discussing Jack.

We are very excited to see what Jack is going to get up to next…….
