A child is precious
Parenting is the hardest job in the world. You have a little life in your hands, who you are totally responsible for. At times it can be overwhelming. You have to be there to love, guide, support and comfort this little life. You have to show them the world, show them how to discover its wonders, as well as its troubles. It is the most amazing and most rewarding job in the world.
As a parent we have to make decisions everyday for our children, the responsibility is huge! Children love to test the boundaries, as of course, they know best. Children can be cheeky little monkey’s, as they find their way in the world and go in search of independence.
There are times we take parenting for granted. We get wrapped up in day-to-day life, the stresses, the discipline, the irritations. I find it is important to take a step back and look at what I have, the most precious gift anyone could imagine…..a family!
A child is precious, a child is wondrous, a child fills your life with joy, laughter, smiles, cuddles, warmth and they make your house a home. They show you true love.
When times are tough, the children are screaming and shouting, you’ve used the naughty step a dozen times and it’s only eight o’clock, I like to remember…….
I am truly blessed, with love, laughter, smiles and cuddles. I have the most precious, amazing gift of all to cherish….a child!
