Christmas card making fun

Every year I like to make my own christmas cards for family and friends from photographs of the children. This year is no exception. I saw something on pinterest which I thought was a fantastic idea, so I set to work.

I printed templates of a father christmas, reindeer and angel mask, coloured them in and cut them out, minus the faces. I stuck them on card and stuck a wooden (blunted) skewer to them.

I set up a slightly christmassy background and got the children to stand in front of it holding up their masks. Here is the result……

I then printed the photo onto a card. This was the result……

I am quite pleased with how this turned out.

The great thing about this card is, firstly, my friends and family get a very personalise card, secondly, my children had a lot of fun posing for the picture and thirdly, they now have some fantastic christmas masks to play with……It’s a win all round  in my book :-)
