Park fun

The storms and rain have meant we have all been taking a bit of a battering, with fences and walls down, power cuts and floods, not to mention children climbing the walls being unable to get out as much as they’d like. So as soon as we glimpsed the sun at the weekend, we were out like a shot.

The children played in the garden in the morning, racing up and down the patio on their scooters. They made obstacles to scoot around and had fun trying to practice using their breaks (always handy I think!).

After lunch, we all went to the park. The sun was shining, the air was fresh, it was a gorgeous day for a family afternoon out. We scooted there, testing out the newly discovered breaks.

The park was very busy, as I think everyone thought the same as us…..sunshine at last! However, it didn’t stop us all having fun. We all joined in. I had a go on the seesaw with Pinky. I must admit, I couldn’t do it for long, it was such hard work, my muscles knew about it the next day! Daddy, went down the slide with Pinky and Boo, I think he secretly enjoyed it just as much as the children ;) . BB found a friend to play with and the girls walked along some beams practicing their balancing.Fun playing at the parkfun playing at the park

All the children played, ran around, used their imagination, got plenty of fresh air and exercise, it was a perfect family afternoon with basic childhood family fun!
